The listening church

The Listening Church focuses on listening.
You don't have to be active in church to make use of listening!

Everyone is welcome.

It's a Christian listening practice that allows you to get some clarity on what's on your mind and learn more about yourself and your possibilities. This is not counselling or therapy.

Do you have
something that needs to be decided
something to clarify or reflect on
something that is bothering you
a dilemma that you need to share with someone else,
or just want to be listened to, you are welcome.

We have a duty of confidentiality.

We start and end with a short time of silence and a small prayer if desired.

After about 10-15 minutes of sharing what's on your mind, we ask three questions intended to provide clarification and reflection.

At Sankt Hans we have listeners who are trained at The Listening Church.

The Listening Church is part of an international network: Christian Listeners International. From Texas in the west to Hong Kong in the east, New Zealand in the south and Norway in the north, small islands of listening networks exist,
who are passionate about inspiring and raising awareness of the importance of listening!

Contact the church office or one of the pastors - and they will put you in touch with the listeners.
